Finished at last!

Knitted in Sirdar WOWI have finally finished the white aran cardigan, well I have knitted it and sewn it up and put the buttons on, but…..

It looks very dirty, even though I washed my hands until they were sore, the garment still looks dirty, so I am going to have to wash it. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong and all being well, I will post a picture as soon as it is done.

Because my hands get all dry and sore when I wash them too much, I took some breaks from knitting the white aran and I managed to finish another scarf!

This scarf was knitted in SirdarWOW. It is really thick yarn. I am going to try and knit a hat to go with the scarf, but with the yarn being so thick, it is really diffucult to sew up. Even sewing in the ends is quite difficult and I ended up with little flecks all over my floor where the pile had come away from the ends.

I do have more of this yarn in other colours, and because it is so quick to knit, I will probably do some more scarfs with what I have, but I don’t think I will be buying any more of it.

For this scarf I cast on 16 sts on 7mm needles and kept on knitting in stocking stitch (1 row knit, 1 row purl) until I had used two balls of Sirdar WOW.
