Knitted so far….
I got so carried away knitting stock for the next Craft Fair, that I almost forgot to update the blog.
Here is a couple of photos of the stock I have managed to get knitted since 21st September.
This jumper is knitted in Aran wool and is a size 34/36″ I have knitted this jumper before and have sold a couple at previous Craft Fairs.
It is also quite quick to knit up due to being mostly plain, except for the top of the jumper.
The colour in the photo is not quite the same as the actual colour of the jumper, but not being a photographer, I don’t know how to fix this.
The second photo in this post is of the scarfs that I have managed to knit.
Going from left to right, they are:- A fawn coloured muffler knitted using a yarn similar to Funky Fur, Next we have a scarf knitted in a turquise colour knitted in Sirdar Boa. The next 3 scarfs are knitted using Sirdar Fizz in black, pink and brown.
The final scarf, on the right, is another one knitted in Sirdar Boa.
The Sirdar Boa is very easy to knit with and can be knitted in one day.
The Funky Fur Muffler takes a bit more time to knit, and you need to divide the knitting to make the whole for the end to go through but it still doesn’t take too long to knit.
My least favourite wook out of the above is the Sirdar Fizz. It has lots of bits of ribbon mixed through the yarn and it can sometimes be fiddly to get the yarn to knit smoothly.
Well, there you go, that is what I have managed to knit in just over 1 week. I have until Friday night to get some more stock knitted before I go to my next Craft Fair on the 6th October.
I am going to try and get some more scarfs done and then I will need to start knitting an order that I got at the last Craft Fair I was at. The order is not due until the middle of November, but we are coming into my busy time for orders and if I get it done now, I can put it away and forget about it until it is due.
Feel free to let me know what you think of the garments in the photos.
Shirley
