  • Wow, what a weekend!

I have had a very busy weekend and I haven’t even started doing craft fairs this year yet!

I started and finished a childs aran hat on Saturday.

I reset my computer to the factory settings because it stopped working.

I have been ‘demolishing’ my sons’ bedroom.

Do you ever get those times when you feel like you could do just about anything? And do it right!

While I was putting my computer back to the original factory settings, I started knitting a childs aran hat.

I had bought 3 balls of a lilac shade of Aran and had already knitted a couple of garments and a ladys hat out of it. I wasn’t sure if there would be enough left for anything else, but I didn’t want to leave the wool unused.

So I started knitting the smallest size hat. As I was getting to the end of the hat, I looked at the wool and I wasn’t 100% sure that there would be enough.

Because I was so close to finishing it, I decided to keep going and got it finished. Just!

By the time I had finished, it took me most of the day, I went and made the tea. Chicken in white sauce, and everyone loved it! Wow, I got 2 things right in a row!!

After doing the dishes, well, I put them in the dish washer. :) I decided to tackle my sons bedroom. The plasterboard had needed replaced for ages and as my son is away at school, I thought this would be the perfect time to get it done.

I spent about 4 hours last night pulling the plasterboard off of the walls and pulling nails out, and I managed to do one whole wall!

I’m away now to see how much more I can get done before my youngest daughter gets home from school and I need to start thinking about making the tea.

I just hope that I can keep up the ‘good work’. :)
