Adventures of a hand knitter

2 Aran Hats

Posted on | July 22, 2008

2 Green Aran Hats I managed to knit up these two hats using some left-over yarn from one of my bigger projects.

They were both knitted on a circular needle. The green and white one is a Large and has a rolled brim. The smaller one is a Small and has about 4″ of rib at the bottom and lots of cable. The crown shaping of this one was done over 4 rounds and really didn’t take long to do.

Both patterns are from “Hats On!” by Charlene Schurch

Your hats are so cute. I especially like the Aran jumper. Good job.
