Baby Shawl - Finished
Posted on | August 19, 2008
I started knitting this shawl just under two weeks ago. It is knitted in 4 ply yarn and on 4mm and 5mm circular needles.
The worst part of this shawl, was doing the edging. I had to work my way through more than 700 stitches, using 8 every 16 row repeat.
I went out and bought some Play Mats to use to block it on, but it turns out that the shawl is too big at nearly 60″.
I don’t have a dog/child free area big enough to block it so this is the best picture I can show you.
I am really happy with how it turned out. This was my first round shawl knitted in the round.
My previous round shawls have been done on two needles and then sewn into a circle. I prefer the circular needle method without a doubt.
