Gents Aran Cardigan

green_aran_cardiganThis cardigan seems to have taken forever to get finished, but it didn’t really take that long.

Not really sure when I started it, but I got as far as the raglan shaping on the second sleeve and had to wait for more wool to come from the customer so that I could finish it, and of course they were away on holiday for a couple of weeks!

I finally go the extra wool and finished knitting and sewing it up only to be told that the customer will be away for another two weeks and won’t be back until after the 29th July!

So I have finally finished and it is now all parceled up ready to go in the post.

Don’t you just love the colour?!!

I have another one of these cardigans to knit for the same people, (it is a company in London who sells them) but they want me to wait until they receive this one before I start on the second one, just to make sure I have done it right. :-)

The second one is to be in a lovely orange colour!  Certainly not my taste but someone must like the colours or they wouldn’t be getting me to knit them!

I have not been able to get online much lately due to the very bad thunder storms we have been having, but keep your fingers crossed that they won’t last much longer!

I have been doing some more lace knitting!

Hopefully I will finish soon and be able to post some pics!
