This is another Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark and is available as a free download on Ravelry. (You need to be signed in to see the pattern & download)
I used some 100% wool lace weight yarn is Brown.
I wasn’t too sure about the colour but now that it is knitted and blocked, I think it works great!
As usual the photo isn’t very good. It is so dull outside, there was more light inside.
This is a very enjoyable pattern to knit. It isn’t too complicated so I was able to watch tv while knitting it. (My favouite kind of knitting)
I have more lace shawls in the queue to be blocked, but just can’t get the time to get them all done. Hopefully the weather will start to clear up and I will get some other photos taken and blogged about soon.

Looks like a fantastic shawl, but is it difficult to maintain it? I think this type of lace knitwear cannot be thrown into a washer, must send to laundry to dry clean.
Being knitted in 100% wool the shawl would need to be hand washed and dried flat. You couldn’t put it in a washing machine.
